Cherry blossoms at Imperial Palace

TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter on April 4, 2014, shows a crowd lining up in front of the Sakashita Gate to the Imperial Palace in Tokyo to walk along a promenade flanked by cherry trees. In commemoration of Emperor Akihito's 80th birthday last December, the Inui promenade was opened to the public for the first time the same day, in time for viewing cherry blossoms in full bloom.
