Kishida seen by some as potential future prime minister
TOKYO, Japan - Fumio Kishida, who has assumed the post of minister in charge of Okinawa and Northern Territories affairs, speaks at his inaugural press conference on Aug. 27. He is seen as a ''prince'' within the Liberal Democratic Party faction he belongs to because of his family background and his potential to be prime minister in the future.
