The government of the region of Andalusia has confirmed that the victims were two 21-year-old women and a man of the same age, who were students at the University of Huelva (UHU) and had apparently been celebrating the end of their quarterly exams in the city's Isla Chica neighborhood. According to witnesses, the fire broke out shortly before 8 a.m. local time and quickly spread through the building.
