Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, discussed on Wednesday with the delegation of the African Union future cooperation to enhance Egypt's capabilities in the production of vaccines and serums.
The minister welcomed the African delegation during its visit to Egypt, to inspect the headquarters of the Holding Company for Serums and Vaccines "Vacsira" in Agouza and 6th of October City.
An official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population explained that the minister was briefed on the African Union's plan and the efforts exerted to improve vaccination rates on the African continent and to increase the manufacture of vaccines on the African continent to meet 60 percent of the demand by 2040.
