Students Protest Death Of Student - Izmir
University students in Izmir organized a protest on October 30, 2023, to remember the tragic loss of Zeren Ertas, a young female student from Aydin. She tragically lost her life after getting stuck in an elevator at a state dormitory under the Credit and Dormitories Agency (KYK). Demonstrators chanted slogans during the protest, holding KYK responsible for the tragedy. A march was held, and a forum took place after the march.
