Dutch Colonial Artifacts Return To Colombo, Sri Lanka

School children are visiting the ''Lewke Canon'' during a public exhibition at the National Museum in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where it was returned by the Netherlands, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on December 6, 2023. The Dutch government last Monday returned six cultural artifacts to Sri Lanka that had been plundered from the ancient Kandyan kingdom in 1765 by Dutch colonialists, who belonged to the Kandy royal family.
