Canada: Smoke Blankets Prairies as Wildfires Continue to Rage 2
Massive wildfires continue to rage across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, forcing thousands to evacuate and prompting both provinces to declare a state of emergency.
Thick plumes of smoke from these blazes have blanketed the region and spread to the upper Midwest of the U.S., where Minnesota’s Pollution Control Agency warned they are expected to last through the first few days of June.
