UTSUNOMIYA, Japan - Three handguns and 23 bullets confiscated from a gangster who has been was arrested for allegedly selling a Japanese woman for prostitution are on display at the Utsunomiya Higashi Police Station in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture on Sept. 13. The gangster, Wataru Kurihara, 26, allegedly sold a woman to a brothel for 1.5 million yen. Police say this is the first case where a Japanese woman has been sold in Japan for prostitution.
