Kyushu Univ. doctors end 'domino' transplant

          KYOTO, Japan - Kyoto University Hospital doctors led by Koichi Tanaka (third from L) carry out a liver transplant on a 6-year-old girl late on March 29, as part of a series of transplants around Japan of organs extracted from a female patient confirmed legally brain-dead March 28 at a Tokyo hospital. The operations, which were successfully completed by the morning of March 30, involved four organs transplanted to seven patients, including two children, at six medical institutions.             TOKYO, Japan - Keio University Hospital surgeons remove the liver of a patient in his 20s with familial amyloid polyneuropathy Feb. 21, in Japan's third ''domino'' liver transplants. The patient will receive part of his father's liver, and the removed liver was later transported from Keio hospital in Tokyo to Kyoto University Hospital in western Japan, where it will be divided for transplant into two males in their 30s with critical liver diseases.
